1) HTML5 Audio tag – NEW – Any modern web browser that uses a technology set called Webkit should be able to use this (Safari, Chrome).  Here’s a quick and easy tutorial on how to add audio and music to your website without having any use of the Flash plug-in.  It’s all built into the browser.

1 Pixel Out – For those of you running a WordPress site, this is hands down the easiest to install and use.  And pretty elegant looking with the ability to choose color options now.

2) JW FLV Player – This player actually does video as well.  Named after the coder Jeroen “JW” Wijering – it’s fully skinnable/customizable.  We’re now using the JW player throughout our site.  Here’s an example:

3) Yahoo Media Player – super easy to use with a little window to type in where your MP3 file lives and then cut and paste the code – voila.

4) WinAmp – This one’s been around since the early days of the web.  Lots of options.

There are so many more options out there, and we may release our own player soon just to give you another choice.
