Video Sample from An Instant Filmmaking Tool – Stupeflix
We wanted to see what we could whip up with a few photos and videos and some tracks from our catalog using the very cool video creation site called Stupeflix. This is a short little film about the fruit called Ochuvas from Colombia, South America. You get to see a little of where they grow, the fruit and how to enjoy them with some aguardiente. Salud! Oh and check out the music which you can download and use in your project right now.
I must say this is an awesome video creation tool. Using just a few still photos, 2 short video clips all shot on point and shoot cameras and then the map creation and text to speech capabilities of Stupeflix, I’m pretty impressed. It did take a little longer as I think the server went down over the weekend and I had to wait to finish. Tell me what you think below.
Bombastic sci-fi music score for Kid Cuisine TV spot
Over the summer we scored a bunch of stuff for Kid Cuisine. Here’s one of the spots with a very over-the-top sci-fi blockbuster score and a kooky adaptation of Camptown Ladies.
Agency: The Geppetto Group
Lyrics: Steve Ingkavet, Darren Farrell
Music: Andrew Ingkavet/300 Monks
Kid Cuisine – Hot Dogs
Head Monk/Film Composer nominated for Best Movie Music
Our Head Monk and film composer Andrew Ingkavet has been nominated for Best Movie Music at the upcoming 2009 Garden State Film Festival. It is the first film festival in the USA to add the category for Best Movie Music. The recognition comes for the score for the PBS documentary New Jersey’s Red October and features a minimalist Americana soundtrack performed by Ingkavet with Mike Stidolph. Congrats Andrew!
Here’s a short clip of the documentary film directed by Nancy O’Mallon.

George Soros – A salute to the billionaire philanthropist

George Soros, speaking at The After School Corporation (TASC) event
Was in attendance at a wonderful event last night for The After School Corporation – a visionary and fantastic non-profit created by George Soros that has helped over 300,000 children receive quality after-school programs. 300 Monks provided some multimedia production assistance and music, of course.
Here’s the video tribute for George Soros. Music is “Bake a Cake” by our own Jon Abrams.
